Roman Narrative
My favorite part is when Julius is so shocked about Brutus betraying him. After all, Julius did risk his own life to save Brutus's. I do think I can improve on the ending/ conclusion.
I kind-of left my readers on a cliffhanger. Next time I will not make the end seem unfinished, so you won't be asking, "What happens next?" |
SeedFolks Exam
In class we read the novella, Seedfolks by Paul Fleischman.
We took an exam on the lesson, content, plot and characters. I think that I did well because of my thorough explanations and # of references/quotations. |

Warm up Q#3
I chose this because I felt it was a good short write for me. I was very surprised by these facts when I found them. I thought they might be fake but I found the same info on many different sites.
Breaking news!
A new addition to the GMO controversy!
They call it “golden” rice, and this was invented to help save children in Africa with VAD. Commonly known as Vitamin A Deficiency. Around 400,000 children under 16 get VAD, and around half die from it every 12 months. Golden rice has more vitamin A allowing kids to get VA. This breakthrough would decrease the number of starving children in the world and by doing so would save millions all over the world. That was Jamie Parker for LA news central! So, Which side are you on?

Warm up Q#4
I liked these warm ups because many people said that they were short an precise. I also felt good about these because I was able to fit so much information into such a compact paragraph. This is evidence that I am improving on adding more details and making my writing more precise.

Informative/Explanatory
Galileo Galilei was a physicist, astronomer, engineer, a mathematician and many other amazing things. Over Galileo’s lifetime he invented many things like the theory of the tides, Galileo went against the church and pulled for Copernicans Theory, and invented the telescope, which Galilei used to discover many of the planets we commonly know today. Doing so Galileo Galilei proved himself as to be the or one of the greatest minds in history.

I think that the telescope has had the most impact on the world. “in 1609, a scientist by the name of Galileo Galilei first peered through his small homemade telescope at the stars. Since the invention of this amazing instrument, our knowledge of the heavens has grown by leaps and bounds.” This shows us how important the telescope was. Galileo and many other people used the telescope to discovered amazing thing that had a big impact on the world today.
